PUBLIC ART COMMISSIONS

2011: Designed and manufactured a drawing rubbing interactive in collobration with Aoife Patterson and installed in the National Museum of Ireland.

 

2012 : Completed commission of two life size statues of Isaac Butt and Frances Brown for Stranlorlar, Co. Donegal;

I sculpted and cast two bronze statues for a park in the town, the commissioning body was the Stranorlar town action group in conjunction with the Leader fund.

 

2013:Awarded a commission by Wicklow County Council for Bray. To commemorate two firemen who died in the line of duty in 2007.I designed and made a memorial sculpture, comprising a stainless steel cenotaph in the form of a Fireman's axe and the helmet, uniform and boots of a fireman cast in bronze.

 

2013: Completed a group commission for Navan Fort visitor centre in Co. Down. The commission was for a nature and archaeology trail. I sculpted and cast in bronze a series of wildlife sculptures and archaeological bronze relief panels for the visitors centre in collaboration with Aoife Patterson and David O'Brien.

 

2015: I sculpted a relief portrait of O’Donavan Rossa for a plaque that was installed on O’Donavan Rossa Bridge in Dublin City Centre.

 

2016: I was commissioned to sculpt a 1916 commemorative monument for Roundwood Historical and Folklore Society, comprising of a plaque of the Irish proclamation and seven relief plaques of the signatories. I sculpted and cast seven relief portraits and sand cast a plaque of the proclamation that I mounted on a granite plinth

 

2016; I was commissioned to sculpt a relief portrait of Robert Monteith for a 1916 monument in Newtown Mount Kennedy Co. Wicklow.
